Burnley with an important win against United

Burnley beats Manchester United 2-0 at Old Trafford for the matchweek 24. With the contribution of Chris Wood and Jay Rodriguez for the goals and a sensational appearance of goalkeeper Nick Pope

Last game of the day, Manchester United is facing Burnley at their home. The first half United was superior, had more possession, passes and chances created. With Wan-Bissaka being one of the most dangerous players for United, winning the right side and sending crosses. Martial couldn´t connect a cross, Mata couldn´t connect the ball with his weak foot either and Daniel James´s header saved by Pope; all came from Wan-Bissaka´s crosses. And a play from a free kick which looked that was practiced during training led Wood to score for Burnley.

The second half started the same but ten minutes later, an assist from Wood to Rodriguez who scored a wonderful shot gave Burnley a lead of two goals. United made his three substitutions trying with Greenwood, Lingard and Shaw. It was all possession, passes and chances created for United who couldn´t find the net. Luke Shaw scored a goal which was then canceled by the VAR.

A good performance by Burnley who secured the three points in a difficult stadium and a United who lost another Premier League game. Rashford injured and with an uncertain future for Ole Solskjær.
