The last game of the matchweek between Liverpool and Manchester United at Anfield. The most anticipated game of the week is here and did not disappoint. With Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah Liverpool won the match.

On top of the table with 16 points of difference from the second place, Manchester City tying against Crystal Palace and minutes ago Leicester losing against Burnley gives Liverpool more confidence before the game. But Manchester United comes from eliminating Wolverhampton from the FA Cup.
In a game where Liverpool dominated the first half and finding a goal at the 14th minute with an old combination which Liverpool fans have seen before. A cross from Trent Alexander-Arnold to Virgil van Dijk who score a wonderful header. A great shot from Sadio Mané and a better save from David de Gea.
A polemic foul from Van Dijk against De Gea which seconds after led firmino to score which then the VAR had to interfere and rule that it was a foul and disallowed the goal. A goal from Georginio Wijnaldum but he was offside. Overall a great game with Liverpool dominating the first half but struggling in the second half with Manchester United attacking more and missed chances such as the one from Anthony Martial who went just above the post.
Liverpool keeps winning still unbeaten in the Premier League and with no one close to them. Manchester United struggling and with an uncertain future for their coach Ole Gunnar Solskjær.
